Activities for Families, Children and Young Tellers

11:00 to noon Family Storytelling
1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Youth Workshop		 Learn new skills and enhance those you already have by participating in this special youth workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to work with 4 experienced youth workshop leaders, each of whom will bring their unique voice to the participants’ experience.
  • Josie Bailey will explain how to choose a story
  • Heidi Cline will work with adding movement and drama to the story
  • Christy Foelsch will show how any story can be fleshed out to give it color and depth.
  • Ray Green will bring his bag of voices to add flavor to a story

Adults may observe this process but there is a fee ($15,00) for doing so. We encourage parents and others to listen to the storytellers who are sharing their stories at the same time as the workshop. Plan to listen to these young tellers as they share in the Youthful Voices Showcase following the workshop.
1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Storytelling  
2:15 to 3:15 a.m. Storytelling  
3:30 to 4:30 a.m. Youthful Voices Showcse Listen to the future storytellers as they share their stories and their skills in this session of Youthful Voices.
